Design begins with an understanding of how you want to experience a space.

Every project starts with listening. We take the time to understand your needs, how the space will be used and what you want it to feel like. From there, we begin shaping the layout, materials and details that bring the design together.

01 — Discovery

We start by getting to know you, your space and what you're hoping to create. We talk through what’s working, what isn’t and how you want the space to feel and function.

02 — Space + Direction

This is where we begin working through the layout, flow and function of the space. We explore what makes sense for the way the space will be used and start defining the overall design direction.

03 — Materials + Mood

We explore materials, finishes, color and lighting, looking at how they work together and how they affect the way the space feels. This is where the character of the design starts to take shape.

04 — Design Development

The ideas begin to come together through drawings, selections and visualizations. We refine the details and make adjustments along the way so the design feels cohesive before moving forward.

05 — Details + Implementation

We finalize the details and prepare the design to move forward. Depending on the project, this may include final selections, specifications and coordination to help bring the space to life.
